MV Fundy Rose has not one, but two movie lounges with comfortable forward-facing seating and multiple large screens playing family-friendly films. This is a favourite location for people travelling with kids or just looking to kick back and truly relax until heading back into their car to finish their road trip.

A great latté and a sweet treat always hit the spot and Midship Café, located — you guessed it — mid-ship, has a variety of options. Grab a tea, coffee or espresso from Sip Café, a local Nova Scotian coffee brand, or try a delicious dessert. The café-style seating makes it the perfect place to chat with your travel buddies or set up your laptop and scroll through your vacation photos.

If you want a substantial meal for breakfast, lunch or dinner, Tides & Valleys Eatery has you covered. Choose from a variety of menu items, from soups and salads to burgers and pizza. You cannot go wrong with a traditional fish and chips, but we also recommend a cup of homemade seafood chowder. We are not kidding when we say it is as good as Mom’s! Located at the stern of the ship, you can eat your meal in the restaurant space or take your food outside on a nice day and watch the waves with your meal.

As you stroll through MV Fundy Rose, you will find a quaint little gift shop filled with Maritime wonders. In case you forgot to pick up souvenirs on your trip, or are looking for a great variety of local products, make your way to the Fundy Treasures Gift Shop. You will find artisan soaps and lotions, traditional tartan scarves, hoodies, t-shirts and more!

Your trip will be made easy with our trained staff at the Visitor Information Centre. Whether you are looking for things to see and do while exploring the Maritimes, information and fun facts about the Bay of Fundy or assistance navigating the ship, they are here to help. This service is available in the summer months when local attractions and events are in full swing.

If you want a change of scenery for your little one, grab some crayons and a colouring sheet from the Visitor Information Services and head over to the Little Mates play area. This enclosed space includes tiny picnic tables for the kiddos and seating for adults, allowing your children to move around in a safe space and maybe meet some friends! If you packed some toys, this is the perfect place to set up your travel activity centre.

No matter which way you look, the views are spectacular on deck, especially on a bright sunny day. There is never a dull moment when you are scanning the water for sea creatures, just do not forget your camera! You never know when a whale might make a special appearance on the surface of the water for a memorable photo op.

Climb the stairs to the top of the ship and you will find the Crow’s Nest. This is an outdoor canteen with plenty of beverage options to choose from, as well as some light snacks. As you can imagine, this feature is open during the summer months when the sun is high in the sky and an ice-cold beverage is exactly what you need.

We are pleased to offer a Commercial Driver’s Lounge for truckers making the passage across the Bay of Fundy. We are grateful for their work and are happy to help them relax and break up their driving between provinces on long hauls. This quiet area is equipped with a TV and comfortable seating, perfect for a long nap.

Next to the Commercial Driver’s Lounge, you will find the Business Centre. This is the perfect place for those commuting for work or who need a dedicated area for focus. Here, you will find designated workspaces with easy-to-access outlets. Did we mention WiFi is free and available across the entire ship?

As you explore the ship, you will be struck by how beautiful the design is. The furniture is accented in rich reds and blues. The windows act like artwork and offer unobstructed views of the water. Even the escalator ride when you arrive and leave has an elevated feel with its mirrored walls and shining lighting. Whatever time of year you sail, you are in for a treat on MV Fundy Rose.
